Let God Be Big In Your Life

It’s hard for us to conceptualize how big our planet is. It’s hard to fathom how big our universe is. But should it be so hard for us as Christians to know how big our God truly is, the Creator of all big and small things? We need to not just know that in our hearts and minds, but actually let Him be big in our hearts and minds, as Pastor Tom Pileggi so eloquently relays that to us in today’s devotional. Blessings!

We’re so excited to announce that BOLT VBS is coming to your house on August 3 – 5! With minimal preparation, easy-to-follow instructions, and a video that leads your family step-by-step through each day, BOLT is designed to bring the fun and faith-formation of VBS to your home.

So if you’re from the ages 3-12 and you would love to join us, you must register before 7/26 since we only have 50 spots available!

From August 3 – 5 we will send you an email with a link where you can access VBS video right at your home! Oh, and we didn’t forget one of the best parts – we are working on goodie bags that will include all the material that you need.

Making It Through Perilous Times

Some historians claim that 2020 will be recorded in history books as one of the most perilous times in history. In such a climate, what is our role as Christians? And does God have anything to say about this in His Word? Pastor Ben Leshkevich shows us that God is not surprised by these times and will walk us through to the better side of glory! May you be blessed by this!

Have We Misplaced Our Joy

Sometimes joy seems like an unobtainable goal. Some of us have even experienced the complete absence of joy. However, as Pastor Tom Pileggi shows us in Psalms 51, our joy can be rejuvenated and better yet, our joy can be restored in Christ! We pray you joy is restored in this eye-opening devotional, “Have We Misplaced Our Joy.”

Reopening of CGC

Calvary Gospel Church will be reopening Sunday morning worship service next Sunday June 21st at 10:30am.
Adults and children will be in the main sanctuary for the entire service.

We will not have Children’s Church or Nursery open at this time, there will be no fellowship after service. This will be for at least next two weeks. We are continually looking at how to keep the church open and safe for everyone.

While in church we must exercise the 6 ft social distancing rule. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a mask. Masks will be provided if you do not have one.
There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the building we ask you use them as you enter the building and as often as necessary
Seating in the sanctuary will be marked off so social distancing can be exercised. Ushers will be available to assist you.

We ask that everyone attending service enter the front doors of the church located on Main Street. Please use these same doors when exiting church.
If you need to use the elevator please use the parking lot entrance and someone will direct you to the elevator. The elevator will be sanitized after it is used.
We will be sanitizing the building after every use.

We ask that you refrain from hand shaking and physical contact with each other so that it continues to be as safe an environment as possible.

People with chronic conditions or compromised immune systems or show symptoms of flu like illness we ask that you stay home and view the service from on line which we will continue to broadcast.

Every person is dealing with the virus differently, with the reopening of the church please respect others, their feelings, and how they are responding to this. This includes respecting anyone who chooses to stay home at this time.

We have never experienced times like this and we are working very hard to have a safe environment for all people.
We are looking forward to gathering together again. We want your experience of worship to be enjoyable and safe.

Blessings,
Pastor Tom
